Cornwall Council approved Hallenbeagle Estates Ltd development framework application to allow a state of the art waste processing and energy centre on the East Site of Cornwall Bio Park.

A spokesman for Hallenbeagle Estates said "this is great news for the development and Cornwall.  We can begin the delivery of a state of the art Bio Park which will blend cutting edge waste processing and energy from waste technology which will be able to deal with 100,000 tonnes of Cornwall's waste and deliver power to the grid."
